Alabama has been on a quite the hot streak on the recruiting trail and that continued Sunday with a commitment from Terrence Ferguson. This comes just days after getting commitments along the offensive line from Tommy and James Brockermeyer.
Alabama Gets a Commitment From Terrence Ferguson
The Crimson Tide are putting together quite the offensive line class. Ferguson is a top-50 player in the 247Sports composite rankings, coming in at 47th, and he is second among guards.
In Ferguson Alabama is getting a monster at 6’4,” 300 LBS, and while being at that size, Ferguson is also versatile. He plays left tackle in high school, but because of his size and ability to get after defenders in the run game, he projects better as a guard in college. However, it’s possible he could play another position, if need be.
Either way, Alabama is getting a great player that will have a role in their offense.
Looking at Alabama’s Class
It was a little bit of a slow start compared to other top programs for the Crimson Tide. However, that clearly hasn’t mattered as Alabama is already back up to having the second-ranked class in college football.
On top of that, they’re building a big-time offensive line class,
As mentioned, Tommy Brockermeyer committed earlier this week, and he’s a five-star prospect and top-five player nationally. And on top of that, they have a commitment from five-star offensive tackle and 17th overall player JC Latham.
This is shaping up to be another top-notch class for Alabama, as they continue their monster recruiting run in the last month and a half or so. They are also getting big-time players at important positions and versatile offensive lineman.
