Tevin Mack Transferring to Clemson

Former Alabama guard Tevin Mack has spent time during his college career playing for the Crimson Tide after starting his career at Texas and now the South Carolina native will be making his third and final school his home state Clemson Tigers.

This is a really nice pickup for Brad Brownell because Mack is a very versatile player standing at 6’6″. He can guard multiple positions and offensively he is someone who can get to the basket and is very efficient from two, and despite not being a great three-point shooter he does have the ability to step out there and be a threat, making 1.4 threes per game for his career.

Mack is also someone who will go down and help on the glass, which is a big help. He has averaged 6.2 rebounds per 40 minutes during his career.

This has been a busy offseason for Brad Brownell in the transfer market. They have already picked up two transfers that will likely have to sit out a year in Nick Honor and Khavon Moore, although you never know with the NCAA, and they picked up Tulsa transfer Curran Scott, who has shown the ability to be a dangerous three-point shooter and should compliment the skill set of Tevin Mack very well.
