The Auburn Tigers have been hitting the trenches hard so far in their 2020 recruiting class, but they did have a commitment from four-star wide receiver Kobe Hudson and now they have added a second four-star wide receiver, J.J. Evans.
Evans really exploded onto the scene during his junior season this past season, going from six touchdowns his sophomore season to 18 touchdowns this past season. He also nearly tripled his catch total and he went from about 300 yards to over 1,700 yards. This type of progress, paired with a 6’2″ frame should have Auburn fans very excited about Evans’ potential heading into his senior season in high school.
If Evans is able to keep improving like he did between his sophomore and junior seasons, he should only continue to skyrocket up the wide receiver rankings for the 2020 class.
