Notre Dame has picked up its fourth four-star recruit of the 2020 class and this one is defensive tackle out of Denver, Aidan Keanaaina.
Going into his senior season, Keanaaina already has the measurables to be able to step in and play. He’s 6’3″ and is listed at 292 pounds and with that weight he is also very athletic for his size and he’s able to do a good job of getting after the passer.
Keanaaina also does a great job of getting a fast first step off the ball and using his hands so he is always at least neutralizing the initial block by whichever offensive lineman is trying to move him off the ball. As mentioned above, he also does a good job of rushing the passer and he uses his hands really well while trying to rush the passer and he rushes really disciplined for someone who is more athletic and bigger than everyone he’s playing against, which is something that should translate well to the division-one level.
Keanaaina joins four-star tight ends Michael Mayer and Kevin Bauman and four-star quarterback Drew Pyne as Notre Dame is off to a good start in its 2020 class.
