Deone Bucannon is getting an MRI on his knee
The Cardinals linebacker didn’t practice yesterday after hyperextending his knee on Thursday and he is going to go get an MRI to find out the severity of his injury.
Defensive coordinator Al Holcomb says that he doesn’t think the injury is serious.
With Bucannon going into the final year of his rookie deal he has become one of the key cogs in the Arizona defense and it would be very good news for Arizona if the injury is minor.
The Cardinals still might be holding their breath while he is dealing with this injury, but at the very least it doesn’t appear to be a serious knee injury.
Andrew Luck is feeling good
Colts quarterback Andrew Luck is of course coming off of missing all of last season after having shoulder surgery.
Well if the Colts are going to do anything of relevance this season they’ll of course need Luck to be back on the field and be healthy and begin his way towards playing at the level that he was earlier in his career.
The star quarterback told the Indianapolis Star that his arm is feeling “stronger and stronger”.
When healthy earlier in his career, Luck was one of the premier quarterbacks in the league and even took a pretty average Colts roster to an AFC title game during the 2014 season and he is a three-time Pro Bowler.
It will be good for everyone involved if he is healthy and able to play at a high level again because he’s one of the best in the league and for the Colts because they’ve been irrelevant when he’s been out.
