Johnathan Cyprien has a torn ACL

On Wednesday, Titans safety Johnathan Cyprien left practice with an injury and yesterday head coach Mike Vrabel announced that Cyprien has a torn ACL, and he will of course miss the whole 2018 season. Last season he started 10 regular season games for them.

This injury has forced the Titans to bring in other safeties to look at, including Kenny Vaccaro and Eric Reid, both good options that are still free agents.

Antonio Brown has a quad injury

Steelers superstar wide receiver Antonio Brown suffered an injury yesterday, but the injury turned out to not be serious as Pro Football Talk is reporting that it is a quad injury and that Brown will only be out of practice for probably a couple of days.

While this turned out to not be a serious injury, Pittsburgh can’t have any bad injuries to Roethlisberger, Bell or Brown.

Kevin Zeitler has a calf injury

Browns coach Hue Jackson has come out and said that right guard Kevin Zeitler will be out for a couple of weeks with a calf injury. Zeitler is on a big deal that he signed in 2017 and he started all 16 games last season for Cleveland.

It’s not a good injury for Cleveland to be dealing with, but with it only being a fairly minor calf injury he should be back for the start of the season.

Quincy Enunwa has a thumb injury

One of the Jets’ main targets, Quincy Enunwa, is coming off of missing all of last season, and now he is dealing with a thumb injury that will cause him to miss one to two weeks, Manish Mehta of the New York Daily News reports.

This isn’t too serious of an injury but you’d believe the Jets would like to have Enunwa practicing so he and top draft pick Sam Darnold could gain some chemistry.

Leonard Fournette appears faster

At least to Jaguars defensive end Yannick Ngakoue, Fournette has gotten faster this season.

Coming off of an impressive rookie season in which he gained over 1,000 yards and and 9 touchdowns, Fournette is looking like he could be poised for a very nice career.

I obviously haven’t seen for myself, but if Fournette has in fact gotten faster, combined with his big frame of being around 230 lbs, that should make him almost unstoppable.
